Ceiling fan. Still have to add wire and doors to interior walls to separate each side and have center food storage bins. This will also keep chickens out of are of ceiling fan.

indian corn drying in green house. Grew from several year old decoration corn in the chicken waste compost area. I have buried hay/chicken waste from the coops in that area for several years.

Now where is my lumber to start the porch and wall up the inside? I took down the green fence weave in hopes I can move the fence line and let the chickens and ducks get use to the new coop before the actual move in day.

chickens already eyeballing the new coop. Headers are in place for the chicken entrances, I just have to cut the holes out, trim and make doors and ramps, Now to get started on their porch.

This is a solar panel I picked up on sale with 3 led spot yard lights. In the summer I will use them on a timer until 9pm so everyone can get settled for the night. I will post more on the relay I will be using so I can run an electrical timer to shut off the solar lights at a certain time.

1X3 pressure treated slats spaced at 18 inches, The extra slat near the bottom rear is for the nailing the added length, which goes under the upper rows.

I painted the green and the coop disappeared! It is visible from the road and even people who know me say they can not see it driving by even with a the red door! It makes the size of it shrink visually. You can tell in a later photo of the back side without paint.

The 4X6X12 pressure treated skids are joined with a locking 1 foot joint and 2x6 supports on both sides for extra support.

These are actually one half of double hung windows. I nailed the corners to make them stronger, and hinged them at the top so they will swing up and open. Hard wire will be attached to the inside of the window opening and out side handles to pull open the windows will be added.
