The door although detached is still present (hook hinge on wall) - standing behind the closed door if being attacked from that side would be very brave as its not very thick, under 1/2" (approx). MG mount on wall.

Roof meets tree, tree meets roof. Fairly safe to assume that the tree would have provided camouflage from the many air raids on Biggin Hill. A metal hook can be seen sticking out of the tree toward the top left.

What remains of the acoustic mirror of 'the roughs' above Hythe, the picture on the plaque at the bottom of the hill shows it would have originally had a plate like surround.

External view of 2 storey pillbox set low in field, the owner is hoping (funds permitting/pending) to 'do something' with it as far as resoration is concerned - however - a fire started by vandals has delayed things. Across the road a type 28A can be found not far to the left of the entrance of Park Farm campsite (mind your head as some of the reinforcing beams are showing and watch where you step as it is frequented by pikey kids from the not so pleasant campsite).

Top of spigot mortar pillar, with steel pin, and remains of one ammunition locker. The concrete of the pillar is eroded revealing iron reinforcing rods. (In triangle formed by A25 Westerham road, B269 Kent Hatch road, and Golf House road. - in a copse 48 metres from the A25)

Large covered bunker, perhaps a Radar Station linked to RAF West Prawl (shown on google earth)? down from the village of East Prawl on Prawl Point. The cover of the ventilation shaft can be seen on the top and the entrance in view is the blocked one, the open one is 90 degrees around the front facing out to sea. Inside some feature remains, ventilation and some wiring/ducting, fuse board(?) and you can see where the domestic facilities would have been and also a room with a slightly raised center area that may have been for a generator. A further 2 level structure appearing to be of a similar age is not far away, set back against the hill. From time to time is is used for cattle.

Small pillbox with external blast protection over the entrance. It is slowly sinking into Camber Sands to the point where access is now difficult for anyone but the most determined of the local youth! Inside detail shows stepped constrution of the walls and chamferred roof to the sides. Also shown is one of the bricked up embrasures, the wall opposite faces out to sea and strangely has no embrasure at all.
